Sovereign European Cloud: How Gaia-X digitises your life unnoticed too
In the webcast on June 21 at 11 a.m., Stephan Ilaender and Cornelius Marks from plusserver demonstrated live how Gaia-X and the SCS manage to bring modern and agile container technology to the last white spots on the digitisation map without being noticed. Plusserver is a founding member of Gaia-X. In addition, participants learn in the webcast, as in the Gaia-X context, clouds become containers and which roles Hyperscaler, 4 Oscars as well as Identity and Access Management play here. The speakers also answered viewers’ questions during the live broadcast. The webcast was moderated by Christian Töpfer from Heise Business Services.

“OSI Forum 2022” took place on May, 04 – 05, Munich. Participants benefit from an in-depth introduction to the Data protection and data security as they are increasingly becoming the focus of discussions. With KritisV, there are already specifications and with Gaia-X a project to build a powerful and competitive, secure and trustworthy data infrastructure for Europe is planned. What do these catalogues of criteria and initiatives mean specifically for our data centre landscapes?
